![]() ![]() While Stephen Adam Amell is known for portraying great athleticism in his acting roles, he took this even further by showcasing his acting and wrestling skills in making a guest appearance in WWE’s RAW, and was even awarded a Slammy for “Celebrity Moment of the Year”, for his role during WWE’s SummerSlam match! He didn’t waste the chance to turn this fun appearance into an opportunity to raise money for the children’s hospice, Emily’s House, in Toronto. After wrapping his role in Arrow, Amell took on the lead in a Showtime Series: Heels, an American TV drama series that follows two brothers in the world of independent professional wrestling, as they struggle for national acclaim in their small town in Georgia. Outside of his TV roles, he also starred in the 2016 blockbuster, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, as Casey Jones. Aside from his acting roles, Amell also co-founded Nocking Point Wines, a light-hearted, albeit premium wine brand located in Washington State’s Walla Walla Valley, in 2012.
